From a shared vision to create an aspiring brand that embodied their values and beliefs, two young South Africans started Bertleys. With our leather craftsman and an old machine, we began to materialise our vision whilst remaining true to our core values; comfort, longevity, quality and loyalty to our homeland. 

Our commitment, as proud and passionate South Africans, is to create footwear with local components and materials. With highly graded leather and suede, components and techniques, you’ll fall in love with our footwear. 

Our mission is to connect the various people of South Africa through truly comfortable, stylish footwear. We believe in inclusion for everyone. From the businessman to the farmers. The country explorers to the city dwellers. And everyone in between.
